Det er&nbsp;med udgangspunkt i den viden, der er opn\u00e5et om dom\u00e6net og konteksten i den foreg\u00e5ende fase at den&nbsp;specifikke udfordring&nbsp;nu&nbsp;bliver defineret.&nbsp;Fasen kan beskrives som en proces for meningsskabelse, hvor&nbsp;der bliver&nbsp;skabt&nbsp;struktur og overblik over den store m\u00e6ngde information, man har indsamlet (s. 4-5).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33%\">\n<p>Form\u00e5let med&nbsp;Define-fasen er f\u00f8rst og fremmest at udforme et Point-of-View (POV), som er en&nbsp;relevant&nbsp;problemformulering. Dette POV&nbsp;bruges til at s\u00e6tte&nbsp;fokus p\u00e5 et&nbsp;bestemt&nbsp;dom\u00e6nes behov og de indsigter, man har opn\u00e5et.&nbsp;Ydermere&nbsp;handler fasen om at definere den rigtige udfordring, s\u00e5 man sikrer, at man arbejder med det korrekte problem baseret p\u00e5 en dybere forst\u00e5else af b\u00e5de mennesker og problemfeltet.&nbsp;En stram og afgr\u00e6nset&nbsp;problemformulering&nbsp;l\u00e6gger op til flere og bedre&nbsp;id\u00e9er i de efterf\u00f8lgende faser.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\" style=\"flex-basis:33.62%\">\n<p>Define-fasen handler ogs\u00e5 om at skabe indsigter ved at samle og forst\u00e5 den viden, man har indsamlet. Ved at finde m\u00f8nstre og sammenh\u00e6nge i sit empatiarbejde kan man g\u00f8re spredte observationer til klare og brugbare indsigter, som hj\u00e6lper designprocessen videre.&nbsp;Samtidig er et tydeligt POV med til at skabe en f\u00e6lles retning i&nbsp;teamet.
