N\u00e5r forl\u00f8bet foreg\u00e5r inden for et lukket klasseregi, bliver de individuelle elevgrupper repr\u00e6senteret som husene i modellen, og kommunikationen ville foreg\u00e5 analogt. Hvis forl\u00f8bet var foreg\u00e5et som internationalt samarbejde, var husene repr\u00e6senteret som lande, som set i <a href=\"https:\/\/itdd.au.dk\/didaktik-tak\/2023\/12\/11\/dims\/\">eksemplet<\/a> p\u00e5 modellen, og kommunikationen ville her foreg\u00e5 digitalt. Derfor kan modellen b\u00e5de bruges p\u00e5 mikro- og makroniveau i kollaborativt samarbejdsregi. Modellen har derfor ogs\u00e5 relevans til den tredje b\u00f8lge, hvor noget udefrakommende bliver inddraget i klasserummet. Det kan v\u00e6re med til at skabe noget kulturudveksling mellem de forskellige huse.
